We have 15 inpatient beds – 13 are on one ward (which can be divided to provide men with privacy) and 2 are in isolation rooms. We have access to oxygen and a nebuliser on the ward. We are able to take care of general medical and paediatric problems. We also take care of non-surgical obstetric and gynaecological problems. We are able to do evacuation of retained products on the rare occasion that it is needed. In 2013, we admitted 936 patients to our ward. The ward was full during the busiest season of the year and many patients had to be transferred to the neighbouring hospital in Bwiam at this time.
